Do I step in, or fall back?

One of my homeboys used to mess with my best friend. My best friend now has a boyfriend but continues to talk to and ask my homeboy on various dates. I don't think my best friend knows that I know what she is doing and when I ask her does she talk to my homeboy anymore she says no not really. I do know my best friend's boyfriend and how to contact him. Should I encourage my homeboy to contact my best friend's boyfriend and tell him the truth, should I contact my best friend's boyfriend and tell him the truth, should I confront my best friend and call her out or should I just leave it alone and hope that it works itself out.

Wow what a tangled and somewhat confusing situation! This is truly a “danged if you do, dang if you don't” situation. The best thing you can do what you can with the limit amount of negative reaction. Your best friend is the center of this situation and most often its best to start with solutions at the source. You should go to this friend and advise her to quit whats she's doing. Explain to her that she is risking hurting a friend and that you don't think that's right. You should express to her that you are conflicted because you have one friend hurting another and you cant sit back and watch this. Ask her to be a friend to you by resolving the situation herself so that you won't have to step in possibly step on some toes.
